The Lošinj island

The Lošinj island
Lošinj – the island of vitality The island of Lošinj and the island of Cres used to be one island, but approximately 2000 years ago the Romans built a 100 m long channel and thus created a shorter sea route for small boats. In more recent history, the island was divided again, this time by the Prevalaka Channel that is located next to the ‘’Marina Lošinj’’ and in the vicinity of the town Mali Lošinj. Mild climate, beautiful landscapes and lots of sunshine attract numerous visitors from the entire Europe.
